Education has always been a core component of our mission. Our Adult Education programs focus on providing accessible, practical courses to help clients expand their skills, employment opportunities and increase their wages. Taught by a dedicated group of staff and volunteers, many of our programs offer on-going, one-to-one instruction to provide the support each individual needs to achieve long-term success. Both daytime and evening classes are offered throughout the year.

HiSET Test Prep

The High School Equivalency Test (HiSET) program (formerly called GED program) at Beverly Bootstraps provides high school-level instruction in language arts, reading, social studies, science and mathematics aligned with the Common Core State Standards. With a HiSET certificate, our clients can greatly improve their career and salary potential.

Our English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) program focuses on basic communication skills. Our aim is for students to become confident, accurate, fluent speakers and writers of English. Class time is used to learn proper grammar, practice skills and engage in conversation with classmates and native speakers.

College and Career Readiness

The College and Career Readiness program strives to provide individuals with the tools necessary for employment. The program offers individualized tutoring and access to computers to help students enter the workforce.

Priority is given to families that have utilized other services offered by Beverly Bootstraps and can prove financial need.
