Bring your own Bags
The Thrift Shop no longer uses plastic bags. Please bring your own reusable bag with you when you come to shop. Reusable bags will also be available to purchase at the registers for 10 cents each.
The Boutique at 198
Located inside the Thrift Shop, The Boutique at 198 is a section of women’s and men’s upscale merchandise including shoes, handbags, clothing, jewelry, and accessories. Thrift Shop customers can shop high fashion for low prices while contributing to the mission of Beverly Bootstraps.
The Thrift shop is seeking donations of the items above for The Boutique at 198. The Thrift Shop is responsible for almost a third of Beverly Bootstraps’ revenue, so when you donate, you are directly supporting your neighbors in need. (Donations must be clean and in good condition.)
Gently used clothing, household items and decor, furniture and books are all items that can be donated to our Thrift Shop. All items can be dropped off at 198 Rantoul Street during our donation hours. Please do not leave donations outside our door when we are not open.

The constant flow of donations makes the Thrift Shop a busy and exciting place to volunteer. Most volunteers find their own niche at the shop, be it sorting clothes, displaying items, marking housewares, helping at the register or keeping the shop appearance appealing to our customers. The jobs at the shop can vary from moment to moment.
