Youth Education Programs
Through our youth programs, we provide important mentoring
and support services to those needing a little academic help.
Our after-school programs allow kids to receive tutoring, enjoy
a nutritious snack, and connect with one another in a safe,
relaxed setting. We also offer an on-site library, school supplies
to start off the academic year, opportunities for summer camp,
and a holiday gift program for families.
“We cannot always build the future for our youth, but we can build our youth for the future.”
- Franklin D. Roosevelt
Cyber Cafe
The Cyber Cafe is a safe place for low-income middle
school students to gain access to computers, complete
homework with assistance of tutors, and build leadership
skills through mentoring younger youth, college searches,
and enrichment activities. The Cyber Cafe is open four
days a week for 2 ½ hours each day.
Homework Club
The after-school Homework Club focuses on
meeting the educational needs of 10 –15 low-income
children from the Beverly Community. The club meets
three days a week for 1 ½ hours. Youth are supported
with their homework through tutoring and peer support.
Tutoring is available every day the club meets.
Tutors consist of Staff, Interns, and Volunteers.
Youth Literacy Program
The Youth Literacy Program offers books to school-age
children through the on-site library to encourage children
to read year-round. This program promotes the importance
of reading and assists low-income youth to build their own
home library. The child keeps any books he/she has chosen.
