Serve Program
Part of a New England-wide empowerment initiative, our Serve food co-op allows individuals and families to double their food dollars through performance of community service.
Serve New England is a program designed to promote volunteer service by offering deep discounts on the highest quality grocery, meat, and vegetable items to community-minded individuals willing to volunteer 2 hours of their time each month to a worthy cause. Serve New England have over 350 chapter sites located throughout the six New England states.
The Smart Alternative to Food Shopping
Save up to 40% or more on high-quality, fresh foods by buying your meats, fruits, veggies and other staple items through the Serve New England Food Program.
How Serve's Food Cooperative Works:
- A participant registers at a local Serve Chapter. Beverly Bootstraps is the local Serve Chapter. Please come in to register any time that we are open for business.
- Serve New England purchases food directly from manufacturers, wholesalers, and New England farms through a unique bulk buying system for all those who register.
- Participants complete 2 hours of community service for each food package purchased.
- Serve New England coordinates the distribution of food to the Chapters, such as Beverly Bootstraps, who in turn distribute packages locally.
- Participants return to Beverly Bootstraps to pick up their order and begin the cycle of service to their community and savings for their families.
2 hours of volunteering
