Our Mission: to end hunger and its root causes in the Beverly community by offering a myriad of emergency and empowerment services to those in need within our community.

Beverly Bootstrap Success Stories:
  • The Back to School Bonanza provided 460 Beverly children with school supplies.
  • The holidayAdopt a Family Program provided gifts for 340 children families in 2006.

  • The Community Outreach Program provided outreach services to 445 low-income families or individuals from Beverly last year.
  • During summer, hardworking volunteers in our Playground Lunches Program made and delivered lunches to children, 4 days a week, at four neighborhood playgrounds. Thanks to volunteers, 4,320 lunches were distributed to kids at 7 different playgrounds 4 days a week, every week through the summer.
  • Our Summer is for Reading, was a resounding success! In conjunction with Beverly Public Library, we distributed donated new and used books to 60 youngsters in June. The program encouraged children to read throughout the summer.
  • And of course, we continue to help children on an ongoing basis by providing emergency food supplies through our Food Pantry and clothing and household goods through our Thrift Shop.
