• $50 Buys enough food to make 25 childrens' lunches.

Donate to the Food Pantry

The Food Pantry relies heavily on donations from the community including both individual donations and food drives.

Donations to the Food Pantry may be dropped off at our main offices Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:00pm and Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 5:00pm - 6:00pm.  Click here for more information.

This Summer we are in great need of donations to supply our Summer Park Lunch Program, which runs for 8 weeks in July and August.  This program provides lunches to low-income children participating in the Beverly Recreations Parks Program.  Without lunch from Beverly Bootstraps Community Services, many of these children may go without a nutritious lunch each day.

We are in need of:

• Juice Boxes (100% Juice)
• Individually packaged snacks
• Granola bars
• Individually packaged cheese sticks
• Whole Fruits
• Individually packaged vegetables
• Individually packaged yogurts or gogurts

*We are trying to avoid peanuts and tree nut processed snacks due to allergies

 

Donate to Boots, Straps & More: Bargains for a Cause

Every donation made to the Boots, Straps & More thrift store works to further the mission of Beverly Bootstraps Community Services. The proceeds from sales provide revenue to support Beverly Bootstraps programming. Click here for more information.  With our expanded space at 198 Rantoul Street, we now have the capacity to receive large furniture donations.  Please call or email Jackie or Mary at 978-921-4710 to arrange pick up.

We do not accept thrift store donations at our main offices.  All donations can be brought to 198 Rantoul Street.

Good Search & Good Shop

GoodSearch.com is a Yahoo-powered search engine that donates half its advertising revenue to the charities its users designate.

Shaw's Community Rewards

Shaw's has discontinued its Community Rewards program and replaced it with a Gift Card Program.  For every $1,000 or more in Shaw's gift cards that you order, you will receive a $50 Shaw's gift card for free.  The nearest Shaw's is located at 71 Dodge Street in Beverly.  Please contact them at 978-232-9104 for more information on this program.

Cars Helping America

If you are thinking of selling or trading your car, truck, RV, or boat, consider donating it to Beverly Bootstraps Community Services instead.  Car donations are tax deductible, and receipts from the sales of your vehicles help support our programs.  Our agent, Cars Helping America, handles all arrangements from free pick up, to issuance of receipts, to transfer of title.  To donate, click here for the online donation form, or call 866-949-3668, and earmark your donation to Beverly Bootstraps Community Services.

Beverly Bootstraps Community Services, Inc. respects the privacy of its donors and has put in place a Donor Privacy Policy to honor your rights.  Beverly Bootstraps Community Services, Inc. collects and uses personal information such as: name, address, telephone number, and email address when a donor voluntarily provides it to us. This voluntarily provided information is kept on file for IRS purposes and is also used in our development and communication activities.  The voluntarily provided data we collect about you is stored on a secure, password-protected server and only authorized personnel have access to your information.  Beverly Bootstraps Community Services, Inc. does NOT sell, trade, or share its donor list with any other organization.   Beverly Bootstraps Community Services, Inc. never sends out mailings on behalf of other organizations.  If you would like your name removed from our mailings, or if you have any changes to your name or address, please email Amy Murphy or call 978-927-1561 x24.

Dear Donors,

In response to stories about another agency’s misfortune, I would like to assure our donors that we make every effort to carefully protect your donations. Our processes involving monetary gifts have been evaluated by an auditor and deemed appropriately secure. We track donated gift cards and keep them in a locked safe if we cannot immediately distribute them. Other tangible items, such as holiday gifts, are kept in locked rooms until given to those in need. We CORI check all staff and volunteers.

While, like at any business in any industry, we cannot guarantee that a desperate person may do something unusual, we strive to think ahead, put safeguards in place and to honor your donation to the best of our ability. Please be our partners in this and alert us if you ever do not receive an acknowledgement of a gift or have any concern.
