The Adopt-a-Family Program
The Adopt-a-Family Program offers the ability for low-income families to receive gifts for their children during the holidays. Matched with generous donors, over 211 families were served last year, totaling over 430 children. This program is often the first volunteer opportunity for many of our volunteers.
Families wishing to participate in this program may call the main office at 978-927-1561. The program serves school-age children living in Beverly and Manchester, MA.
We are so grateful and fortunate to have already matched 180 of our 2010 families to generous donors. Distribution of gifts will be on Thursday, December 16, 2010.
In order to accommodate all families efficiently, effectively and in a harmonious fashion, we are now soliciting clothing for boys and girls (all sizes), gift cards to local businesses along with food cards to local grocery stores.
