FOOD PANTRY
In response to the needs of our community, the Beverly Bootstraps Food Pantry was started in 1992 by the parishioners at the First Baptist Church. Since then our services have grown tremendously to meet the ongoing needs of the community.
In addition to providing food to those in need, we strive to educate our food pantry visitors about the benefits of healthy eating on a budget. We do this by providing cooking and shopping classes that show our clients how to shop and prepare healthy meals for their families.
All visitors to the food pantry receive three bags of groceries, including fresh produce and up to two toiletry items. Click here for a list of typical groceries
Eligibility
Beverly and Manchester residents may visit our Food Pantry once every 14 days. All residents must bring a piece of mail postmarked within the last 30 days to every visit.
