Community Gardens

The Community Gardens, located on Cole Street, began in 1996. The Gardens provide a beautiful, peaceful retreat while giving Beverly citizens the opportunity to grow their own food and feed hungry families.

Our garden consist of 36 plots, open to community gardeners for their own use, along with 16 raised beds that supply fresh produce to our Food Pantry. The average plot size is approximately 17' x 25'. Over the last few years, thanks to the support of the community, volunteers and our donors, the gardens have flourished. Thousands of pounds of produce have gone to feed both the families of the gardeners as well as the needy families who come to our Food Pantry.

If you are interested in a plot in the Community Gardens, please call our office at 978-927-1561.
