Whenever possible, Beverly Bootstraps collaborates with other organizations to strengthen the services provided to our clients.
The following represents a current list of partner agencies/groups.
Be Healthy Beverly
Be Healthy Beverly is a community collaboration of city departments and community agencies working together to facilitate sustainable initiatives to improve the health and well-being of the community. Beverly Bootstraps works closely with Be Healthy Beverly to prioritize health strategies that will make long-lasting changes in Beverly either through policy or environmental means.
Beverly Housing Authority
In an effort to increase access of fresh fruits and vegetables to low-income individuals and families, Beverly Bootstraps has partnered with Beverly Housing Authority to offer family and elderly housing residents a Mobile Market that provides free fresh produce and vegetables on a weekly basis, June through October.
Beverly Public Schools
Beverly Bootstraps works closely with the Beverly Public Schools to coordinate many of our Youth and Family Services, including our Back-to-School Bonanza and Summer Park Lunches. Additionally, we work with the schools to identify children with barriers to academic success and in need of tutoring in our After-School Homework Clubs. Beverly Bootstraps often receives referrals from the schools for those in need of Adult Education programs, assistance through our Food Pantry or Client Support through our Case Management Team.
Beverly Recreation Department
Beverly Recreation Department offers children in Beverly a morning park program for eight weeks every summer. This program includes a free healthy lunch, provided by Beverly Bootstraps Summer Park Lunch program.
Beverly Resource Group
Beverly Resource Group is a collaboration of community partners who come together to discuss resources available, promote financial stability and improve the quality of life of low-income Beverly residents. Our Case Management staff plays an active role in the Beverly Resource Group steering committee.
Cape Ann Resource Exchange (CARE) Network
CARE Network is a collaboration of community partners who come together to discuss available resources, promote financial stability and improve the quality of life of low-income Cape Ann residents, including Manchester-by-the-Sea. Our Case Management staff has worked closely with participants of the CARE Network since its inception in 2010.
Fort Beverly is a school based program for families and children with military connections and dealing with unique military service issues. Our Case Management staff works closely to provide support and offer Beverly Bootstraps‘ services to these families.
North Shore Hunger Network
The North Shore Hunger Network is a collaboration of food pantries on the North Shore, working together to alleviate the impact of hunger in communities North of Boston. Our Food Pantry staff plays an integral role in this group.
North Shore Volunteer Resource Group
North Shore Volunteer Resource Group is a collaboration of North Shore volunteer coordinators. Our Volunteer Coordinator currently chairs this group.
North Shore Community Action
North Shore Community Action Program (NSCAP) provides low-income individuals and families access and support for fuel assistance applications and free tax preparation services. Our Case Management staff works closely with NSCAP to provide Beverly and Manchester residents with these services.
Volunteers and Interns
We collaborate with many of the local businesses and colleges to recruit volunteers and interns.
